Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, known on stage as Oxlade, is a Nigerian singer known for his music in the Afro fusion and R&B genre.
A video circulating online shows the singer in an interview. During the session, he was asked to give the meaning of his stage name, Oxlade.
It seemed his expression did not really sound well with the interview as she seemed confused with the word he said.

In Oxlade’s attempt to say rare, the interviewer also mistook it for the likes of rear, were, and wear.
After much deliberation between the two, Oxlade finally decided to spell it out before the interviewer was able to grasp the meaning of his stage name as RARE.
Oxlade rose to fame in 2020 after the release of his single, Away. He has also been known for his leaked sex scandal which earned him the name, “Johnny Sinns of Music”
