Who Inherited Gucci?
Who inherited Gucci? The eponymous Italian fashion house had no formal heirs before it was sold to a Bahrain-based investment company in 1993. Aldo and his brother Maurizio had owned a stake in the company for 30 years. They later sold it to the French conglomerate PPR, which is now part of Kering. Maurizio and Paolo Gucci’s daughter, Patrizia, inherited the company.
Alessandra Gucci was the eldest daughter of Aldo Gucci. She is 44 years old and lives in Switzerland with her husband and two children. Allegra inherited her father’s $400 million estate and lives in Switzerland. Allegra inherited her father’s yachts, the Avel and Creole. Her sister Allegra inherited the Avel yacht and the Creole yacht. Alessandra and Allegra Gucci’s yachts are named Creole and Avel, respectively.
The Reggiani family is now responsible for the fortune of the Italian fashion house. Gucci was the last of the family to run the luxury brand. Maurizio was killed in 1998, and his wife Patrizia was found guilty of arranging his murder. Maurizio’s daughters also inherited properties in Saint Moritz and Milan. The Reggiani family was so wealthy that they were forced to sell their 50 percent stake in Gucci to a Swiss investment company.
